A Journey Only Makes Sense

I Want a Girl

Life, at times, can be unbearably bitter.

Let's say, for example, that you are a lover of TRUE MUSIC, and you post a review of an ARTIST who is particularly dear to you on a site; it's just a hypothesis, mind you, no one should feel involved (where words always need to be weighed so carefully, as there's always someone who gets offended), and when your review appears on the site, you are bombarded with envious, ill-intentioned comments by people who act worse than in a tug-of-war contest. What great pain could there ever be in your heart? Isn't it possible for these people to find a nice girl and go for a walk by the sea? But it's useless to fuel yet another pointless controversy, in a situation as serious as the one we live in today in Italy, where diesel costs now almost as much as gasoline, and those who've bought a diesel car (sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone) already feel like they've taken it up the rear.

Life, at times, can be unbearably bitter.

And that's precisely why we have the duty, indeed the pleasure, to cheer ourselves up with lots of cheerful music whenever we have the chance! Welcoming the most fun, carefree, and joyful!

DJ Francesco, despite the American-sounding name, is very Italian and is, in fact, the son of one of the great musicians of the last millennium which ended just seven years ago: the GREAT Roby Facchinetti. Hence all the controversy about him being strongly favored, a go-getter, someone who never worked a day in his life, a fool, and so on, but I say: is it perhaps a crime to be the child of someone famous? And then what should Alessandro Gassman, Ricky Tognazzi, Paul Belmondo, Christian De Sica, Violante Placido, Alberto Angela, Giovanna Mezzogiorno, Enrique Iglesias, or Piersilvio Berlusconi say? Do we really want to think that without the help of their respective "Mamas & Papas," all these undisputed stars of our time would be brushing dolls' hair in some toy factory? No, I ask, do we want to think that? But seriously? Really sure? Cross your heart? Swear to God? And come on, talent is recognized immediately, and it takes just one look at this guy to see it. And then (I say this with the utmost respect and reverence for the ladies, whom I always admire and respect) if a luscious stunner like Aida Yespica found something in him, doesn't it say something, no? And here the guy, despite many criticisms, demonstrates that he has quite a brain and knows how to use it wonderfully. "La Canzone Del Capitano" shakes you to your core and makes you want to move every part of your body, doesn't it? And what about the beautiful, poignant, dramatic, decisive, captivating, beautiful, slow song, "Era bellissimo?" Listen to this:

I was the bee, you were the honey

The cherry on top

My jar full of Nutella

And so all the so-called "intellectuals" are well-served, those who say DJ Francesco cannot compose a melancholic song, we can calmly shove a dead pigeon up their coccyx, HA HA HA HA!

But now a more solemn moment, because we must remember a very good and generous man who, by a stroke of misfortune, has recently left us and has left an endless valley of tears in the world. Ladies and gentlemen, the greatest living singer: Luciano Pavarotti, who duets with DJ in "I Adore You."

In the second part, all the musical tracks for a karaoke version of the album.

So.

Of course, it's obvious, natural, crystal clear, and who's questioning it? He doesn't have the same deep, tuneful, engaging voice as, say, Cristiano Malgioglio or Giovanna (the singer with the separated incisors, for those who don't know), but what does that mean? However, he has a nice, fresh voice, he is charming, lively, entertaining, and not at all. Just to clarify: this is a completely different genre of music, it's the music of the young, the music of the future, the music that will come, the music we already feel is here, the music we already feel inside us, more and more inside, there is and there always will be more of it. The music of the young, in short. We were all young once, there's no point in being so high and mighty, and I have to tell you, when I was a boy, I was also very much alone, and no one wanted to play with me. I will never forget those Sundays alone, strolling in a courtyard. Now I'm more bored than before, not even a priest to chat with, but that's another story, and I'll tell you another time.

Viva Italy!

Salta, non ti fermare
salta segui il mio ritmo
Salta, non ti fermare
salta segui il mio ritmo
Salta, non ti fermare
salta segui il mio ritmo
Salta, noi balleremo finché viene giorno
Sbocciando di brutto

Ti metto a tempo
Ascoltando il battito del cuore
Lento
Accelerando
Col gioco del mio polso
Sincronizzo
Mescolando
Ogni genere di suono
Con un solo orecchio
Sono il dj
E il mio compito è capire cosa vuoi
Con il profumo del vinile
Che non guasta mai
E come sai

Ti giro intorno
Come si fa fa fa
Ad immaginare una vita
Senza musica
In volo e per terra
Contro la guerra
Saltiamo di qua
Saltiamo di là
Saltiamo anche dove non c’è gravità

Salta, non ti fermare
salta segui il mio ritmo
Salta, non ti fermare
salta segui il mio ritmo
Salta, non ti fermare
salta segui il mio ritmo
Salta, noi balleremo finché viene giorno
Sbocciando di brutto

Chi non salta adesso salta EH! HE!
Chi non salta adesso salta EH! HE!
Chi non salta adesso salta EH! HE!
Chi non salta adesso salta EH! HE!

"'Bella di padella'... just for this title, such an album should be banned, and everyone who buys it should be arrested."

"I don’t understand how this can be called music and especially how certain people can list this clown DJ Francesco among musicians."
