Wow, I didn't even know this album existed, it sounds interesting. Great review.

@Bubi, yes you're right but there are so many gaps to fill and unfortunately my days don’t exceed 24 hours either. But I’ll make it :-) Thanks for the advice. @Super, yes indeed... by the way, I actually have one in the works but I’m really lazy and I never get around to starting it. The last one you mentioned, well, yes, I would really like to manage to jot down a couple of lines sooner or later. We’ll see.

I mean, I can't believe it. But listen, tell me something, did you write it before or after my invitation (which was ironic, in case you didn't get it)? I'm asking because in the first case I would give you 2, in the second case 1... but thinking about it, I'll give you 1 anyway. Now we're eagerly waiting for one about the first of zeppa.

Yes, well, but my travels are limited to the Pordenone-Padova route :-) Did you see that Ole has reached 80?

There’s only one problem: after an hour of listening to the DT, I think not even an earthquake would wake me from sleep...

A record, in the end, is a product intended for sale, so it’s obvious that a musical group also aims to sell as much as possible. However, music is also an artistic expression, and a true artist (I don’t think the DT are, but there have been many—both in music and elsewhere) does not seek ONLY success. If that were the case, many bands would have taken different paths than the ones they actually followed, and many of the albums we consider landmarks today would never have been produced. Even Van Gogh, to give a silly example, would have wanted to sell and would not have scorned success, but clearly, there was something that interested him more if he maintained his own way of painting and did not conform to the trends of the time. Or do you think that records like "Lorca" or "Starsailor" were made by Buckley merely for the sake of success? The problem is that if you take the Dream Theater as a model for a musical group...

Nice little trip from Melbourne to Trondheim ;-)
