Versione slim: Hi, my name is Mauro and I was born in 1960. Versione full (per chi ha tempo e voglia): Born in 1960, I love three things in life: music (especially prog), the mountains (but the "true mountains"—the Alps—please forgive me Alps enthusiasts), and minerals that I have been collecting for many years. I enjoy company but also love being alone with good music or a good book. I don't like ceremonies, parties, etc., because I can't 'talk just to talk' with people with whom I don't feel a connection that envelops each of us. I also like: mountain biking, observing Nature, chess, traveling, dark chocolate perhaps paired with orange, and simple good cuisine (wines included). I don't like: plastic because it leaves too much around even though we can't do without it anymore (how beautiful glass bottles were for returnable use), bytes which now dominate daily life, violence, the domination of men over their peers, politics because those who run it at high levels get caught in a mechanism of more personal or sectoral interests rather than the interests of the community, advertising because there's too much of it now, football which is driven by profit, and generally everything that is motivated only by profit, dry and pure.
