A masterpiece, like Closer after all, even if they have slightly different tones.

I have no words to describe this album.... it reaches the highest emotional peaks and is truly Ian Curtis's testament. Many masterpieces are contained in this work, from the reflective "Passover" to the hypnotic "Heart & soul," from the alternating rhythms of the beautiful "24 hours" to the final and moving "Decades" (the atmospheres created by the organ in the "choruses" are wonderful), not to mention the aforementioned "The Eternal," perhaps the supreme masterpiece. A note of merit also for referencing that phrase related to the latter song. It is one of the most touching phrases I have encountered in the songs I have listened to so far.

Both the review and the album are lovely. I agree with you about "A flower in desert".... I really like "Butterflies" too.

Beautiful album. I especially love the first part and the wonderful "Brother wolf, sister moon" with its unique atmosphere. The review is great too ;)

I've only been following this group for a short time, and I only have "Dreamtime" and "Love," two albums that I adore (thanks cry_me_wolf for introducing me to them!), perhaps because of the dark nuances that often appear in their first two works. I will try to listen to this and their other works...

Great album. They're amazing live (I had the chance to see them at the Rototom Sunsplash in Osoppo (UD) in 2004 during the tour for this album).
