One of the few current bands that deserves praise upon praise.
I also believe that the singer's voice resembles Yorke's a lot.
Hats off to this Danish group that has included incredible masterpieces in this album such as "Rocket brothers" (the video is great too), "Melpomene," and "Petit machine."

3 and a half stars for this album. Besides the aforementioned singles, beautiful "Falling" and "Butterfly".

The two singles are beautiful, and I would add "Should have been me" to those; the rest doesn’t particularly captivate me.
Grandaddy Under The Western Freeway

Extraordinary debut. "Collective dreamwish of upperclass elegance" and "Laughing stock" are among the absolute masterpieces of Grandaddy.
Grandaddy Concrete Dunes (rarities,imports...)

True, finding it was quite an undertaking (on a fifth-grade trip to a huge shopping mall in Barcelona!).
Anyway, it’s a beautiful album; among many, I’d mention "For the dishwasher," "Lava kiss," "Fentry," and the infuriating "Kim, you bore me to death."
Beautiful and clever songs, like "Away birdies with special sounds" (a very evocative two-minute track with echoes in the background), "Fentry," which opens with a one-minute conversation, etc.
A very good album.

The album is not as good as "The sophtware slump," but it's still very nice. Overall, all the songs are good, but the highlight comes towards the end of the album with "I'm OK with my decay" and especially that gem of "The warming sun."

Wonderful...from the incredibly long and extraordinary "He's dumb, he's simple, he's the pilot" (many got to know Grandaddy only through the soundtrack of the film "3 meters above the sky") to the most famous single (thanks to the spectacular video) "The Crystal Lake," leading up to the final masterpieces. Ingenious...just think of the title of one of their songs: "Broken household appliance national forest"....great!
Manic Street Preachers This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours

The masterpiece album by the Manics and one of my all-time favorites. Beautiful songs ("If you tolerate...", "The everlasting", "You're tender and you're tired" above all) and so many memories tied to this album and that period....
Manic Street Preachers The Holy Bible
Voto:
a record to share with all those who consider people like Good Charlotte and all the current "phenomena" of great rock singers........
Great Manics!!!
p.s.: I have the remastered version of this album with the live video disc of these tracks... really beautiful

4 and a half stars for this fantastic album, a remarkable comeback for this great band. This summer I've worn it out from listening to it so much; it's beautiful and I truly recommend it to everyone.
