I have the DVD... for me, at 19 years old, watching Guccini in concert (even on video) for the first time was a huge emotion... fortunately, a few months ago (01/26/07), I had the honor of seeing him at the Palalottomatica (Rome).

The fact is that especially the DVD of this live performance is really beautiful... it's not that I have particularly biased ideas but the (my) truth is that I don't share your complaints about Guccini's decline in his last CDs at all... it's true that he may not stand out for originality (he can afford it) but his continuous "sublimating form," his transcendence in the technical and semiotic construction of the lyrics, and the overwhelming coherence deserve a more careful analysis from you... as for the low ratings given to De Gregori (whom I actually admire a lot), they arise merely as a counterbalance to the one-sidedness of degregorius... bye.
