Oasis (What's The Story) Morning Glory?
Voto:
It's strange how filthy plagiarists—an entire career built on plagiarism—how come those annoying, horned Oasis continue to woo the masses? But who spends 20 euros on this stuff? Who has so many rings in their nose? Compared to them, Blur were less manufactured.
Duran Duran Red Carpet Massacre
Voto:
The Duran have never lived up to the excellent expectations set by their first three albums. Too clever, dancefloor-oriented, and ultimately banal. The cosmic conjunctions of the '80s don’t come back; after "7 and the Ragged Tiger," it's all over... apart from a few successful singles, which only confirm that you can’t build a solid career by picking bits and pieces here and there—a glaring example is "Notorious," with a riff literally stolen from a track by the Silver Convention, "Heart of Stoneā€ā€”and relying on Rhodes and his machines. Reunions for the cash don’t always succeed. I saw them live at the Flaminio, many years ago... since Rhodes was playing too much—all those samples and sequencers weren’t enough for him—he even brought a second keyboardist. I thought to myself: this is too much, what do they think, that people coming to see them are just naive? A truly fake concert.

Nice. Beautiful album... Sambato... Definitely better than Miguel Bosè. Here he was still a virgin, figuratively speaking, before the electro turn and the 220 in his hair. I met him years ago, fuoridimelone, he’s a big fan of the Ramones.

The problem is that at a certain level, everyone is good, everyone is strong, and anyone who denies that Miguelito is a decent performer... the issue is that he, like so many others, has never done a damn thing to achieve success; it was all already ready and pre-packaged. Rating: Pop without soul of checcacce in a mid-life crisis.
Toto Cutugno L'italiano

a Celentano clone, the Italian Toto; a perfectly hit pop song, the true anthem of our fellow countrymen abroad, earthy and just tough enough.

I reiterate that Yorke's anemic voice does nothing for me, but what do you want, do I have to be a fan for that? I honestly didn't expect to find so many uncritical, foreign-loving, fanatical little idiots... but what the hell do you want, sorry? I give whatever ratings I want or do you want to censor me?
I wrote a review about True West that isn't from the '70s, and then there's taste... for example, "Karma Police" sounds a bit like an old youth anthem in Rome - "sen 'annamo o no, se n'annamo si o no..." Since you’re so obsessed with foreign stuff, I’ll tell you that I prefer Marcella Bella or Rettore - as for the appearance, like Yorke. With those albino lashes, he gives me the creeps; I think of pig bristles.
