This is how Alberto Camerini's second album opens, and it's clear from the outset that you are dealing with something that is not easily categorized, something wild, yet equally enveloping and fascinating.
The sound, albeit heterogeneous, maintains its cohesion and presents itself as a patchanka of Latin American sounds, renowned songwriting, and lo-fi electronics where Camerini experiments with the ancient musical heritage, rendering it alive and pulsating.
The lyrics are authentic journeys (laden as they are with visions, colors, and sensations), and the artist, being an exceptional interpreter, places them perfectly within the musical context.
It is impossible to cite one track over another; the album is a unique whole without any dip in tone, showcasing Alberto Camerini in a state of grace, capable of uniting fairy tales, tropical flavors, and poetry.
