Schoenberg's work 21 (Pierrot Lunaire) has much less to do with it than I thought while struggling to watch snippets on YouTube. Having listened to it properly now, it is 21 poems set to music by the poet Albert Giraud. I just tried to find common points and, as I said in the first comment, it seems to me that linking Ouverture XV to Schoenberg was extremely forced, considering the liveliness of the former compared to the latter. I don’t know if we can speak of a concept album (I think we can), but the record deals with the imaginary kingdom of Raipure and describes its various characters (Schoenberg is only tangentially related, as his work speaks of entirely different things; moreover, his is an expressionist work, so the tones become hallucinatory, grotesque, distorted, and deformed, which doesn’t happen in the album reviewed here).
Ah, Manliuzzo, don’t call me “compagno”!
CJBS? Ah, I didn’t want to reveal it, but those are the initials of my name, Christian Juergen Bauer Saporetti. I hope no one knows me in here. And especially not know Schoenberg's work in depth, otherwise they'll lock me up in a madhouse.

CORRECTION: "passing through the melancholic king (or sovereign)."
Now I've listened to Schoenberg's work more carefully, the distance is greater than I thought. Especially regarding what I said about Overture XV.

stunning! I'll read the review later. Even though I would be tempted to give 5 just on trust.

And where the heck do these come from?
That's what I wonder with every album you review! :)
All I got from the record is that it's a big dust cloud of genres...

You've seen the fire burn your house,
You've seen the crows eat your grain,
You've seen the dogs tear apart your children,
You've seen the waters carry away your mother.
You've seen the world crawl through the dung,
You've seen your brothers ask for forgiveness,
You've seen the light scream condemnation,
You've seen... nothing more.
A bit of bad luck, huh? :)

This is not a movie, it is THE Movie. For me, it’s not even a movie, it’s image, sound, infused with lyricism. I'm not a great admirer of philosophy, but didn’t Nietzsche say that "there are no facts, only interpretations"? I would say the amount of commentary surrounding this film proves just that. For my mother, the slowest, dumbest, and most boring film she’s ever seen. (And she didn’t even finish watching it).

The most beautiful album of the B.M.S., for me.

Here I am! I still have the computer under lock, but the control is weak.... I only know "Aria," it's beautiful. Besides, I don't see anything wrong with following stars, stroboscopic lights, and money. You said this is a decent album and not exceptional: maybe if it continued down this path it would get worse! I'm off to study...
