Idioteque is wonderful right from the title. You write with your feet, though, my friend. Are you already a case study?
Voto:
Yes, but "if Zappa WOULD HAVE done something like this"?!? And then "a tough yet ironic criticism, YOU have singers and musicians"?!? The review is brave and has a good foundational idea, but these mistakes (which you attribute to having done it all just after waking up. So what? Do you think you can save yourself from the flames of Gehenna for this?) just make me want to say MAPORCODIO!
Voto:
p.s. schizoid but why don't you bother him like you bothered me?!? :-)

I saw them live in Rome on April 19 and reviewed the album "stato libero" ... not very positively, actually. The sound, which had seemed hard and pure live (like in the most inspired moments of the nineties, let's say during the Spirito tour), but in the release the mixing, in my opinion, gives too much prominence to the duo of primadonnas, a more commercial than artistic choice. Anyway, I liked the part of the phone tapping, I see it that way too ... the reference to Guglielmi's reviews is really sweet!

I open Debaser to look for a review of this album, and I find it right on the homepage... wow...

Wonderful record, played really well, even if it’s far from the intimate atmospheres that I appreciated so much in their early concerts (late seventies, claro que sí hombre). Nice review, though a bit sparse. I’ll give you a 5 because the Italian is well constructed, and that’s a novelty today.

Schizoid, I'm glad you ended up being the mocker of the extremist. So I’ll respond seriously: the two gentlemen were 'finished' when they lost their natural condition, that of the duo that made up Litfiba! Together, they take off, even though they hated each other for a good ten years. The result is that this album could have come out better, but live, they still rock like few others!
Voto:
For Nes: yes, I was referring to the golden period when they were doing hard rock, and this kind of hard rock they are trying to bring back around. I still agree that the atmosphere and poetry of the 80s is a whole other world. Go check out my other reviews of Litfiba and you'll understand we're speaking the same language.
In any case, ultimately when I saw them in April, I found them immense, but on the album they have lost a bit... I prefer the concert I saw in person!

you have the full freedom to mock me but you have no reason to
for me, you remain a poor nerd who doesn’t know how to spend his evenings
what can you do, in this world you have to be patient
Voto:
I meant constructive criticism regarding the review, it seems obvious to me. I would have liked to finish the story with your response about you calling me truelitfibiano. Why??? I know you do it to mock me, but why? Are you frustrated? Do you have an easy time having fun? Do you get excited about certain things?
