To preface, I don't adore this album and I prefer the other three Tool albums (including the latest) by a wide margin; I consider this the weak chapter not due to any grave deficiency but because, in my opinion, during that period they were overcome by a compulsion to outdo themselves that led them to produce this overly long and excessively technical album for my tastes, falling into the same trap that Dream Theater has been in for years, which is giving too much space to the brain and too little to the heart. I think that your piece is more of a provocation than a review, and as such, I don't judge it, but I must point out that the hypothesis you suggest, namely that of an excessively intimate work, is incorrect. In fact, I believe it is quite the opposite; what is present here is only an exterior mysticism that is overly pronounced and therefore is more of "low quality" (please excuse the term!). Bye!

You use exaggerated tones for a character that is more of a costume than a musical one, but I must have already mentioned this in another review. Anyway, I won't rate the album because I haven't listened to it, and honestly, like every purely media operation, it doesn’t intrigue me. However, I give you a full sufficiency for the review because I like the way you write.

A review that's a bit too biased but overall well-written; honestly, I've never been a fan of theirs, but this album isn't bad.

Not a bad review, a group that I honestly can't stand but I won’t vote because I’ve only heard the previous one.

A funny and clever song, just like the entire career of the media-savvy exploitant Albarn. A delightful review.

Well-written review but for a group that, apart from the various absurdities, has really little to say.

Well, I liked Tin Machine, the review is well-written but I don't really share your opinions; the album isn't that bad, let's just say they've done better.

Too brief a review, so-so album.
