Well!, it’s not a matter of defending one’s own idea (it’s completely respectable and commendable to do so) but the tone with which this is done can be discussed. You seemed (and the last post confirms this) too unwilling to consider other perspectives and somewhat arrogant towards other people’s ideas. However, if you don’t think that’s the case, no problem, that’s on you. I certainly won’t insist on changing your mind (that’s not my usual style, but I wanted to clarify my thoughts thinking you would appreciate the feedback, but it didn’t turn out that way).
