THE REVIEW

This review has no meaning (like the film).

In Lost Highways there are buses that disappear only to go to the mechanic, there are women who were brunettes, die and become blondes, there are guys who call at the bus stations and talk to themselves then there's one who finds an ear in a field, one who dreams of flying but is too drunk to have any credibility on the road.

Lynch doesn't give a damn about the audience and rightly so, I am a god, you are scum, even Dennis Hopper, then there's David who sings and everything becomes a true must until the tragic ending where the two brides become shapeless larvae as if platinette killed Raul Bova. "Stade Perdute" is a movie to watch even while asleep, you're too stupid to understand it anyway, you're useless insects that I and Werner will crush without mercy.

If this review is not published, I will take my life and also take the lives of 6 children who will be selected by the 4 fascists of Salò.

Lynch eviscerates the concept of plot and that of reality.

Fred’s morbid love, an absolute, infinite love, clashes with the wall erected by his beloved, who is a finite, relative, mortal being.

"David Lynch is not what transpires from his films or his paintings. The artist-Lynch and the person-Lynch are two completely separate entities."

"It's so exciting when you fall in love with ideas... And getting lost is wonderful."
