The phrase "Machine is live and never die" is nonsense thrown on Wikipedia by some jokester (and as usual, the folks at Wiki fell for it like gullible people) with no official confirmation, and then other credulous sites picked up the joke.

I quote Bjork above regarding the discussion about getting it on, about politics; I know this isn't the right place to say it, but I think the problem in Italy is that there are fewer and fewer people interested, with the risk that it's always the same ones who end up putting it in that place. Anyway, Bjork, I love you anyway and I also hold some affection for Poletti (a bit less though ;-) )

Dear Kim, obviously the progressive alongside Clinton was more of a provocation than anything else. Regarding the hypotheses you mentioned in your comment, I don't know what to say; I am not experienced enough in American politics to respond. However, I can agree on shadow governments (this happens even in our poor Italy, dominated by an ultra-nationalist banking and insurance lobby, just look at the Telecom case, not to mention the much more capitalist USA). What I didn't agree with was your connection of this film to hyper-conservatism in the Stars and Stripes; it doesn't seem to me that this is the case. In fact, I think that Benigni was honest in his intentions, but as I already said, for me he included too much naiveté and, above all, directed and acted poorly. That's all. My analysis transcended politics; it was purely stylistic. Bye!
