U2 Pop

I agree, Frantz, U2 have ridden quite a few waves, and the review itself acknowledges it ("in line with the current trend"). Others might have done it better, the album... the fact is that, performed by U2, even a lackluster piece has its reason. They are U2, it's Bono. A bit of a "self-fulfilling prophecy," if you will. Like R.E.M., but at a much lower artistic level. Overall judgment on the album, negative. However, the review is well done.
