I knew it! After waiting so long for this review to appear on the homepage, I arrive with a morning delay due to a meeting...! Anyway. What can I say, the Antwerp scene is an incredibly precious source, and even though I’ve listened to very little of DAAU, it seems to me that they are no exception...
Milaus Rock Da City!

While we're at it... as support there were also Lillayell from Pisa. The guitarist sings in three. But he would do well not to because it sounds much better when he plays the guitar. Amid the chaos they made, some of his riffs certainly stood out. They can grow, especially if he gets Chris Cornell out of his head. Ari-kisses.

I saw them live last Saturday (April 24) at Bloom in Mezzago (...). They were opening for Yuppie Flu. These Milaus are really something, very young, smart, and with great influences behind them. They command the stage incredibly well, especially the bassist (the one who is less "rhythm section" of the two in the band) who has a very 'slacker' look and attitude. In fact, they seemed made to get on stage with Pavement, both him (in a short striped polo looking like a nerd, always looking down, playing around with the bass, singing little "uh-uh-uh-uuh" harmonies) and the guitarist (who also physically resembles Scott Kannberg). The singer/guitarist also plays the violin and it works. They are original, a bit chaotic but well-structured, really. All the dEUS vibes are there. Thanks again lukin! PS Yuppie Flu are a confirmation.. this is the third time I've seen them live and they just keep getting better. Oh, they've changed their lineup (one less keyboardist) and according to the bassist, the new album is coming out in the fall. Nice one.
