Great Jeff, yes. Thank you for reminding me with your comment about this wonderful album and this fantastic review. I really want to listen to it right away, damn it, I don't have it on my computer, aaargh. I have to vote again for sure.

I confirm as well: it's Lou Reed in falsetto! Miriam, you write very well, congratulations! If I can give you a piece of advice: try to avoid using only ellipses to separate sentences because they disturb the reading more than they help it. As for the album, well, there’s nothing to say, it’s the only album that has EVERYTHING, but really EVERYTHING (even more so when paired with White Light/White Heat), the masterpiece par excellence of rock music.

Thank you for the samples: unfortunately, they can be seen but not heard, unless Schuller is much more minimalist than he seems :D

Yeah, I've heard them, I like them halfway, the dream pop half, it must be the dark wave that doesn't convince me :(

I listened to them somewhat distractedly in a beautiful house; they didn’t impress me, but then again, the next big things are made to not impress me.

Beautiful review, even though I’m not sure if I prefer it to "Rounds," it is definitely a sublime album. "A Joy" and "High Fives" are standout tracks. Liquid sounds and rhythms that no antivirus can stop. You beat me to it; I was about to write it...
