Always a pleasure to read, but this time the names mentioned will keep me at bay. Let's avoid extending the list, at least :) Best regards

Exceptional concert, as I mentioned in the review of Trellheim, their style is truly wonderful. I heavily agree with Airone: they might be the only historic band still around that can still write the history of rock.

Well, I really like thin and childlike voices in music. This review gave me a sense of peace. The eyes of Perro del Mar, a sense of less peace, more than... well, let’s not go there.

I still can't "unwind" to non-Western sounds, but sooner or later I will, and it will be largely thanks to you!

Nice review, Hal. I really enjoyed the concert in Milan: I was very curious to see how he would handle that unusual setting (the conservatory), and he did well, with those string arrangements that added an even greater "emotional" depth to the pieces, but also a lesser variety and thus the risk of monotony. The only concession was a "psychedelic" coda of one piece, I don't remember which (maybe Novocaine For The Soul but I might be wrong, it's been a long time), very hallucinatory and dissonant. The last encore in pajamas was surprising!

As usual, you narrate musical realities that are completely unknown to me, and you do it beautifully. A lovely 5 :) Bye

Mogwai: top-tier band. Concert in Milan: stellar. Mogwai Fear Satan: hissing roar whipping melodic sublime. Golden Porsche: I have no words. I envy Giubbo who heard Xmas Steps (they didn't play it in Milan).

TristRam, please. What do you want me to say? I'm just a user who observes, and while observing, I realize that what the editors publish "not on the home page" has a common characteristic: they are particularly crap reviews. With sympathy, I pass and close.

Ah punny, of course you’re late. This isn’t the first review to be published “not on the homepage,” nor will it be the last. It’s not a matter of censorship: simply, those written in a half-assed way (see the last one by DJ Francesco) aren’t featured on the homepage, accept it and don’t make a scene as usual.

Yes, well, um, not so voluntary my intervention, but I have to say that you did quite well, yes. Beautiful.
