I also appreciated the fact that no rating was given, but rather the focus was on telling the story of Zucchero's album for what it is. My favorite remains Troppa Fedeltà.

Dave Matthews is not up for discussion, HE IS LOVED!! A phenomenal band.

Hats off for the review. I really like the album too, I believe that Zucchero will win back people's love. Beyond the bullies of this site (after all, this is a community of society, and just like in society, there are civil people and others less so...), and the prejudices from the countryside (see plagiarisms).

Franco Battiato Mondi Lontanissimi

It's clear that you are a "fan" of Battiato, and luckily here there isn't some violent person throwing insults and multiple votes just because they don't like it or perhaps just don't understand it. Mondi lontanissimi is a beautiful album by Battiato, but I think if you give a 5 to this, then I don't know what you should give to limboscata gommalacca or 10 stratagemmi.

Apart from the dreadful ilovemusic that is everywhere, like weeds, I must say that this review, although triumphalist, perfectly reflects what this album is: a mysterious yet energetic and sunny interlude, and at the same time tremendously DARK in Italian music. At the time it was not understood, today all that's left is to realize that no one has touched shores like those of miserere, pene, anna solatia, and miss mary. Download them and listen to believe, who knows, even the detractors might find elements of strong emotionality.

At the time, it went unappreciated; today, we must acknowledge that no one has touched shores like those of miserere, pene, anna solatia, and miss mary. how can you give this album a 5? zucchero was still raw, he was still called fornaciari and had yet to meet rustici and randy jackson, and it has nothing to do with the future paths that will shake up Italian music and make it known abroad well beyond o sole mio and più bella cosa non c’è. this album, on the other hand, is a typically Italian romantic blandness that may appeal to morandi lovers but certainly not to music enthusiasts and rockers.
