Styx The Grand Illusion
Voto:
Dear nightwalker, the rock we're talking about has also brought to light some truly great albums: one of these I recently reviewed, and it is awaiting publication. Don't look back by Boston, for me a true masterpiece in its genre.
Giant Last Of The Runaways
Voto:
When I was into AOR, I was crazy about this album; it wouldn't have the same effect on me now, but at the time, it was on a high level.
XTC Drums And Wires

"Making plans for Nigel," besides being a wonderful track, has been one of the emblematic pieces of the new wave. It's right of you to highlight that.
Elisa feat. Ligabue Gli Ostacoli Del Cuore
Voto:
Instead, I like Elisa; she has made some beautiful songs. This one isn't bad. No comment on Ligabue. By the way, are you from PG?
Thin Lizzy Bad Reputation
Voto:
Nice review. It could easily fit in the left column. Editors, where are you?
Styx The Grand Illusion
Voto:
If you review it, you'll definitely have a reader, goodbye!
Wishbone Ash Argus
Voto:
It's only right to mention Wishbone Ash as precursors of the duo guitar "harmonies." Among their followers are also Thin Lizzy.
Styx The Grand Illusion

The Styx were missing, well done Grendel. I modestly take the liberty of separating Boston from these other groups, given their more hard rock'n'roll-oriented approach, although they too have written songs comparable to pomp/AOR. To Gilmour, who loves rarities, I also suggest Angel, Starcastle, and more recently (the 80s) the English band Dare with "Out of the Silence" and Prophet with "Cycle of the Moon." Grendel, will you also review "Pieces of Eight"?
Laura Pausini Io Canto
Voto:
"I sing"? The problem with Pausini is precisely that she sings and that she represents us abroad!
