FANTASTIC.... I say it because he also listens to death metal...

Kick Out the Jams is great, not like the second album, Back in the USA which is just a mediocre mixture of garage rock/blues rock/hard rock, not like this which I consider the first [proto] punk album in history... Even the first three from the Stooges are three raging gems of [proto] punk...

I listen to extreme metal, grunge, De André, and Manu Chao, and in a moment I can go from the punk of the Sex Pistols, the Ramones, and the Clash to the Dead Kennedys to prog bands like Yes, King Crimson, Area, and PFM because I like them, and they are two different types of music anyway, but the important thing is that they give emotions.... Prog gives me emotions for its technique, and punk because it's direct, and anyway, let's not have pointless discussions like "prog is a useless genre," etc.... Great album and great review....
