THE REVIEW

Right now I am really pissed! Just 10 minutes ago I had finished my review on "Scream", the latest album by Tokio Hotel, I clicked on -next- and what did I see appear in front of me???? "System error: Windows Internet Explorer will be closed". And there goes about 45 minutes of work completely lost. So, since my desire to write a review has gone to hell, I'd like to quickly list the features of this latest album by the breakthrough German band.

"Scream" is the first fully English album, created by the very young (class of '89 - '87) German band Tokio Hotel. I can understand that at first glance, a German band composed mostly of youngsters, leaves more than a few uncertainties. However, I can assure you that this group is not bad at all. A strong, determined style but at the same time also delicate and in some parts emotional. Someone (in some comment read I don't remember exactly where) compared them to Finley, due to their Pop-Rock being a bit too "sweet". I can tell you one thing: de gustibus allowed, there is an abyss between Tokio Hotel and Finley that many love to define as rock. This band is truly incredible: they convey emotions but also pure adrenaline with songs like "Scream", "Monsoon", "Ready Set Go", and "Love Is Dead". At times they can also move you with calm yet wonderful songs like "Forgotten Children" and "By Your Side", which in my opinion is also the most beautiful song on the album.

To conclude among the negative notes, I can only point out a slight lack of originality which I hope can be filled with experience and time. I've given this band three stars, hoping that the current revelation can turn into something more...

ps: however, the singer should change his look, until I found out his name was Bill, I was convinced he was a girl.....

The album, despite the miraculous help of the studio, is horrible, so don’t even try to download it, you’d just be wasting your time.

Bill Kaulitz is a boy, moreover without a voice, who manages to be overshadowed even by the least pulsating bass of his friend Georg Listing during the live performance.

Tokio Hotel are leading young people to depend on these posers who do nothing but give them a false idea of "rebelliousness".

"Scream" is a collection of very low-value pop songs... devoid of feeling, written to favor the music business.
