Someone else has already said it: as useless as it is well made.

Just like for Massimof, my hypothetical review is nuanced, but once again, no regrets because it’s excellent. The only off note for me is in the first part, with those numerous references to the number of records sold, the Grammy Award, and the chart positions reached. This is an epoch-making album regardless of all that, even though it's true that without that enormous success, its message would have remained partially unexpressed.

If it's permissible, Malcom without an L, why 1 to the review?

It's true, Jim Morrison, but not only here. Compared to the Italian average, this is almost a happy island. A masterpiece of Italian progressive (I have a slight preference for "Storia di un minuto," but that's just a matter of taste). A review that I would have liked to write, but the quality of this one leaves little room for regrets.
Santana Supernatural
Voto:
Perfectly in agreement with Violator: an album no more than decent, but excessively trumpeted due to Santana's return from his long slumber. It might deserve a 3.5, but the (undisclosed) theft from Brahms' Third Symphony in "Love of my life" takes away half a point.
Van Morrison Poetic Champions Compose

I had missed it too. And I'm making up for it as well. But I can't remedy the fact that the usual handful of us are the only ones who appreciate Van Morrison. After all, right next to it there's a review of Ramazzotti, which gets 5 stars... what can you hope for?
Franz Schubert Fantasie D 760 ("Wanderer") e D 934
Voto:
P.S. "viloni" stands for violin; the 5 refers only to the Wanderer fantasies.

Wow, what a debut... Andras Schiff with Schubert is a match made in heaven: I have the 6 Moments Musicaux D-no-I-don't-remember (I’m guessing 780), perhaps the most beautiful I’ve ever heard. I have several interpretations of the Wanderer Fantasie, among which stands out one by the immense Sviatoslav Richter, with an almost devastating energy (especially in the first movement). Unfortunately, I don't know the Fantasy for Violin and Piano D 934, and it's definitely a gap to fill, because generally with Schubert's chamber music you can’t go wrong. Welcome to the "loggione" of debaser, and as Battisti (or rather Panella) said: "The beginning is already indicative." In any case, it's better to be a bit encyclopedic than to say nothing.
Carl Orff Carmina Burana

Perhaps for the first time, I disagree with J.O.P., although I don't consider myself a purist (but a traditionalist, yes). This work has always seemed to me a well-prepared meatloaf, with few genuinely inspired parts ("Fortuna imperatrix mundi") and a lot of filler. In short, a lot of smoke and little roast: a flashy, majestic work but ultimately redundant and boring. But of course, these are personal tastes, which shouldn't affect the judgment of the review, which is truly excellent.
