It’s not really my kind, Odra, I don’t know. Review as usual.

From the samples I've listened to, the reference to Fripp seems spot on. They might come across as a bit ostentatiously cerebral, but you know, Odra, they are still just samples. A review that's less Odradekian than usual but still explanatory.

Well, "West End Girl" is more than a clever instant dance hit. It's a truly refined piece.

Oh no Alex, "Logic," track number 9 from First And Last And Always, is a great piece.

I know the group but I’ve never heard anything from them simply because no material produced has ever been reissued by CD. Cherry Red has been planning a reissue for months, but it seems to be a mystery. Just when it’s about to be released, the date gets pushed back.
In the meantime, I’ll be waiting..
Great review.

I don't know. Hal was right in the other review. Odradek is an "approach."

You used a term that I find very appropriate to define Gazzè: gentle. A very pleasant album, subtle, disenchanted, with lyrics that are valid both in content and in form, significantly superior to the pseudo-poetess Consoli. Listen to the wonderful grace of the closing track "Adesso Stop," and you will understand why the word gentleness is fitting. Well done, Max.

Well, I hardly watched Sanremo, even though I must admit I like it because I have the best laughs watching these four poor souls who act like stars! Ha ha! Anyway, in my opinion, Povia's song wasn't bad, light but not trivial, 350 times better than the Ramazzotti-Anastacia duet that's playing in front of me right now.
Oh my God...oh my God.
I'm joining the "pro beating up Dolcenera" committee, one of the most annoying women in the female universe. She fully embodies my prototype of an anti-woman. And you might say who cares :-)

And here I was waiting for you, odra! You perfectly captured the sound of the record, which is truly unique in a way. However, I think they should thank the miniatures of Brian Eno's "Another Green World," which, in my opinion, have influenced them quite a bit. This album remains one of the few examples of new wave "out of the chorus," far from the warmer influences of the period, and for that reason, it deserves extra praise. For someone with little sensitivity, it might provoke laughter due to that tick-tock drum and that anemic organ, but its strength lies precisely there, in how it blends with the air, which you described perfectly, especially when you referenced silence. Very true, it is one of the least "invasive" records in history, one you can listen to even when you have a headache and pray for everything to be quiet. And that’s saying something.
