Overkill The Years Of Decay

A very bad review for an album that is among the best of the band along with Horrorscope; I wouldn't know which one to choose between the two—this one is pounding while Horrorscope is more refined. But they are the peak of the band for me. Megadeth are inferior to them.

Here’s another contradiction in gray velvet; first, he tears down the album, then goes around saying it's one of the band’s masterpieces. Just look at his other reviews to believe it. Clown.

Once again, another shitty review VELLUTOGRIGIO WHEREVER YOU ARE GO FUCK YOURSELF! YOU'RE ANNOYING THE HELL OUT OF ME WITH THIS TRACKLIST AND ON TOP OF THAT, WHEN YOU DO IT, YOU FORGET ONE OF THE BEST TRACKS ON THE CD, WHICH IS "AFTER DARK": ANYWAY... everything is missing here meanwhile you haven't specified that many BÖC albums are the product of the imagination of their producer A. Pearlman who wrote science fiction books. You didn’t mention that this album is basically the only concept album by BÖC because it talks about the story of the aliens in Pearlman's book, aliens that have the symbol used by BÖC... that inverted question mark... and so many other things that I'm not going to get into here. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING REVIEWING BÖC, GET A GRIP AND STOP MAKING MORE TRACKLISTS THAT YOU FORGET TO MENTION ALL OF THEM BY THE WAY!!!

This review is a SHITSHOW!! First, I don’t like the same old fucking format where you have to mention the tracks one by one. Second, this album is spectacular and few can understand it. I myself didn’t get it at first; the first time I heard it, I said it was total crap, which was wrong. THEN THIS FUCKING REVIEW doesn’t talk about the rock/progressive nature of this album—it’s not just any album. And rightly, someone here said that BÖC has never released an album that’s the same as another; tracks like BLACK BLADE and MONSTER DEADLINE are masterpieces of absolute value—no other band has ever created such offbeat and genius pieces. CÖLTOSAUROS is and will remain one of my favorite BÖC albums alongside Fire of Unknown Origin (if Cultosaurus hadn’t been made, it would have never existed) and also Spectre and Imaginos.

The review is decent and so is the album that became famous only because it contains "Don't Fear (The Reaper)." Personally, I prefer other albums like CÖLTOSAURUS ERECTUS and FIRE OF UNKNOW ORIGIN; they are very experimental. But even IMAGINOS is no joke, and neither is SPECTRES, an album that I think I understood (maybe) after listening to it for quite a while. Blue Oyster Cult is a fantastic band that has often gone unnoticed despite winning gold and platinum records.

Today, years after this review, I can only reiterate once again the underestimation of this album. The film was a flop because it was misunderstood, but now it's a cult classic, and it's not at all easy to find. This record is ahead of its time, and not everyone has noticed. I am always right.

Yes, indeed, after some time I must admit that this album is not bad but simply different, ALL#80% is funky rock. The most important track, I believe, is "Under Pressure" with David Bowie.

I voted the review DEAR REVIEWER AND GAVE IT A NICE 2 (only because it cost you time, but objectively it deserved a 1). First of all, I'm not the type to give a 5 just because someone wrote a review on an album I like (like your little shit buddies up there, just to be clear). Then, this review is poorly done and boring; the usual piece-by-piece structure drives me crazy, but by now this rule has become some sort of papal bubble, "PIECE-BY-PIECE STRUCTURE." From this alone, you can see the absurdity and ignorance of the reviewer and their pathetic work. Moreover, many other things should have been said about this album, and only then could we talk about the musical side. This is an album that could also have a book written about it (for various reasons that I won’t explain here but that you can guess)... and this guy comes up with a short article, just listing the song lyrics in order? LEWIS TOLLANI, RETIRE, YOU'RE RIDICULOUS!

The review is discreet because it starts well but then the writer gets tangled up, especially when citing certain original ideas from the film and then failing to describe them properly. For example, the figure of the HEALTH OFFICER can be seen as a potential problem humanity might face with such advanced robotics capable of interacting with humans, given that he will turn out to be an android himself. On this point, I see many of the questions that Asimov posed in his science fiction essays. But beyond this, it's clear that to speak well and thoroughly about this film, the story to write would have been much longer. I ALSO ADD THAT SENMAYAN IS A DAMNED IGNORANT HICK AND UNDERSTANDS NOTHING; I HOPE HE DISAPPEARS FROM HERE; HIS OPINIONS ARE UNACCEPTABLE! OF ALL THE SAGAS, IF THERE'S ONE THAT IS INFERIOR, IT'S THE SECOND; THE THIRD IS VERY INTERESTING AND I'M NOT SURE IF IT'S ON PAR WITH THE FIRST; IT'S VERY WELL DONE AND MAKES A LOT OF SENSE! THE SECOND HAS MORE OF THE AMERICAN FLICKER, SHOOT, SHOOT! ANYWAY, THE FIRST REMAINS IN LEGEND; IT'S A MASTERPIECE AND NOW YOU ALL CAN GO TO HELL, IGNORANT AND PRESUMPTUOUS PEOPLE!
David Lynch Fuoco Cammina Con Me

The review, for me, remains on a sufficient level; however, I note that it was written after I posted about the entire series in question, namely TWIN PEAKS. Unfortunately, due to issues that, in my opinion, do not make sense, you can only read it in the in-depth section under "DAVID LYNCH: THE SECRETS OF TWIN PEAKS". Clearly, the reviewer who wrote here did not understand that "Fire Walk With Me" is hardly categorizable if judged as a standalone film. In fact, I would say that it makes no sense at all if viewed without having seen TWIN PEAKS at least up until the discovery of Laura Palmer's murderer, because it needs to be placed right in the middle of the series. This work by Lynch is therefore a seamless part of the series "TWIN PEAKS". The series is essentially divided into two main investigations: the capture of Palmer's material murderer and the discovery of the true murderer, which will then reveal itself to be a paranormal affair. Hence, the film in question—"which in reality would be a prequel"—a sort of prologue, even if made afterward, should be viewed halfway through this investigation in order to understand the meaning of the ring and the blue rose, something that this reviewer did not grasp! It is logical that for someone watching the film without having seen the series, it will be indecipherable, and the reviewer fails to point this out at all; therefore, I will rate it 1 without appeal. The mystery of the blue rose is nothing but the code name for the case Major Briggs, Bobby's father, was investigating… while the ring bears the same symbol found in the "Owl Cave," where there is the map that gives the location of Bobby's lair, the unclean spirit. THEREFORE, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO JUDGE THIS FILM AS A SINGLE PIECE BECAUSE IT IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE STORY. Whether a commercial maneuver was intended can be discussed, but I believe, as I have stated in my analysis, that there was an intention to highlight Laura Palmer’s unpleasant character as well, to break that sort of morbid connection created by the series' strong charm with the viewer.
