After Pinocchio, here he is revisiting the tale of Peter Pan. The "connections" are remarkable, starting with Captain Hook aka Toni Negri. In dazzling form, he fills stadiums from Rome to Milan, and allows himself the luxury of a lyrical gamble ("Tutti insieme lo denunciam") that hints at Rossini and cynicism.

A hard-won debut album by the Neapolitan singer-songwriter (with a remarkable contribution from his brother Eugenio): in some tracks flashes of genius already stand out ("Detto tra noi"; "Rinnegato"), while in others he appears more subdued (with a huge leap in quality already in the following record).

The "angry" tracks will only arrive later, in "I buoni e i cattivi", except for "Detto tra noi". But here you have Non farti cadere le braccia, Una settimana un giorno, Campi Flegrei, Un giorno credi, Rinnegato, as well as the aforementioned Detto tra noi: excuse me if that's not enough!

Edoardo Bennato: I buoni e i cattivi

One of the albums that has caused me the most trouble and discussions with music-loving friends. For me, it's a great album, but on a potential Benna podium, it holds the third place, and the more years go by, the more, who knows why, I like it a little less each time. But it's still a great work; I'm just more connected to Pinocchio and Peter Pan.

Do you like his concepts more then? For me, they are all 5 stars from "Don't throw in the towel" to (at least) "A ship has arrived" (another semi-concept on "The Pied Piper"), but also other later ones. But he is my absolute favorite, so my reliability in this matter is below absolute zero...

Elio e le Storie Tese: Italyan, rum casusu çikti

Opus "elico" no.2. Their masterpiece. Played brilliantly, it is a mix of fun, beautiful music, and unrestrained quoting. "Pipppero" is the summer 1992 hit, but the songs that go down in history include, among others, "Uomini col borsello"; the most unlikely superhero of all time, "Supergiovane," and the wicked "Servi della gleba." Participating, laughing along: i Pitura Freska, Diego Abatantuono, Claudio Bisio, Riccardo Fogli. Hilarious. ridanciani:

A great record, one of the best of the decade, even if perhaps not a masterpiece as some claim ("La poiana" and the two covers of Conte are rather weak), but the entire side A is practically perfect ("Mario"; "Io e te"; "Natalia").

Eros Ramazzotti: Dove c'è musica

Right now he’s a war machine. He’s moving at a breakneck pace and seems more in tune than ever with his (inexhaustible) audience. “Più bella cosa” sends him soaring up the charts, while “Stella gemella” confirms him as the champion of a pop that is as simple as it is, deep down, incredibly international. “L’aurora” is dedicated to his newborn daughter, and his love story with Michelle Hunziker fills the pages of national (and not only) tabloids.
