Murray Head - One Night In Bangkok "From CHESS"

One of the best pop-dance tracks of the early 80s: a cult classic.
U2: Where The Streets Have No Name

An intro that fully enters the legend of ROCK. 1:17 min to listen to FOREVER.
THE JOSHUA TREE is to U2 what LA VOCE DEL PADRONE is to BATTIATO. Not their best album "perhaps" but definitely the coolest.
Fabrizio de andrè La canzone del maggio

I stay in Italy and I focus “only” on my freedom. The VACCINE in ITALY is a blackmail to return to freedom. A clockwork freedom, subordinated to booster shots and the “already” anticipated new variants. Those who get vaccinated, or worse, have already been vaccinated give in/ have given in to BLACKMAIL and at the SAME TIME become a watchdog (just look at the vehemence and malice of some DEBASER users) of this ITALIAN GOVERNMENT. They become COLLABORATORS.

Even if you believe you are absolved, you are still involved.
Franco B̰a̰t̰t̰ḭa̰t̰o̰ - La v̰o̰c̰ḛ ̰d̰ḛl̰ Padrone Full Album 1981 HQ

Inspired by @[asterisco], I took the liberty of imitating him, but it wasn’t intentional; while cooking, I realized I had also put on Battiato and was cooking, just like he did last night.

I just finished preparing the sauce (half passata, half pulp) for a personalized amatriciana. Bacon instead of guanciale, deglazed with red wine instead of white, and very spicy. Organic oil, bacon, red wine, and chili pepper.

I wanted to listen to the voice of a master since, for me, the true masters are monsters and I have no intention of obeying them.

As a lover of rankings, I even devised an order of my preferences, but there are only minimal differences between each track.

Hello Franco.

Signs of Life
Centro di Gravità Permanente
Gli Uccelli
Sentimiento nuevo
Summer on a solitary beach
Bandiera Bianca
Cuccuruccucù
Kings Of Convenience - Rocky Trail (Official Video)

They come back together after many years and pick up right where they left off.
Relaxing, elegant, travel music, slightly uplifting.
Paolo Conte - L 'avance

The old lion still scratches...
Carly Simon - You're So Vain

It seems to have been one of the first pop songs of female emancipation, in the sense that before, when a woman sang about a lost love, she would say things like "poor me, what will I do" (so they said in the documentary just finished on rai5).
Litfiba - Tex (1990)
Litfiba - Proibito (1991)

Never covered too much Litfiba BUT you want to put VASCO?? @[lector] ...but these two pieces have always blown my mind...
Vasco Rossi - T'immagini (Remastered)

Perfect track in its structure, chorus and everything.
The best song from Cosa succede in città.

Can you imagine if it were always Sunday, you were always free, and your mother was less neurotic?

Vasco is a stinker but way too underrated by the capish who, by underestimating him, really aren’t that capish...
CAPAREZZA - LA SCELTA

You listen to it for the first time and it's fine, by the second listen it's already familiar: so cool, good job Capa!
02 - Lucio Dalla - Il parco della luna

It's the song by Lucio Dalla that I hold most dear. I listened to it as a child; when it was released, I was 10 years old. It has always captivated and fascinated me, and it still does today!
Piero Ciampi - Livorno

Sorry for the double listen, but Livorno by Piero grows on me more and more. One of the sweetest melodies ever and a classy semi-jazz final arrangement that just makes me step aside, Mr. Piero.
Lucio Dalla - Cinema

I've always liked this song... and then there's Marcello...
Giorgio Gaber - La libertà

When will we come down from the tree?
Chi cazz' m' 'o fa fa'

The greatest Italian musical group of all time...
Joe:Louis Knocks Out Tony Galento In Full Color

1939 The black champion Joe Louis defeats Tony Galento in a colorful match. It's worth noting how no one applauds him (the black man) and at the end of the bout, the police (about ten officers) come in with their clubs, perhaps because back then, after a fight, both opposing teams would often end up in a brawl.
