Vote for the boobs! I only know Friday 13th from the album, but just for that it deserves a 4-5 balls.

It was the first Progressive album I sold, too dependent on Floyd. On the other hand, I have their production from 1980 onwards, lighter but with more dynamics, and frankly more original.
I have the feeling that this is the most underrated album by Faber; in my opinion, it's one of the best!

    I find it beautiful too!

    but underestimated by whom?

@[Stanlio] I always hear about the good news or saved souls, it seems to me that no one cares for the story of an employee.

Well, there are 4 reviews of this album just on DeB, what more do you want?

I didn't say it's not appreciated, just that it’s overshadowed by more famous albums by Faber.

perhaps it’s as you say, far from me the desire to argue, in my opinion this album shines with its own light and no one else can cast a shadow on it...

Underrated is the right term since, as far as I know, Faber himself considered it an unsuccessful work. That it is a masterpiece, on the other hand, is beyond discussion.
Am I the only one who thinks that "la ragazza e la miniera" is even more beautiful than "la donna cannone"? Anyway, the whole album is stunning!
If only all "ugly albums" were like this.

If a producer with a bit of sense and less hand on the wallet hadn't messed it up, it would have been an excellent debut; as it stands, it's just good, let's say 7.5.

Great big book! It's a shame it's "ruined" by various conspiracy theorists who probably haven't even read it 99% of the time.

they haven't read it because the idiots of the conspiracy theorists don't know how to read.
This disc contains Hallelujah! Is that enough for the 5 balls? Yes? Not that the rest is any less, of course!

Also because there are at least a couple of pieces that are even more beautiful. "If it Be Your Will" for sure.

I know, but Hallelujah is one of my absolute favorite songs! :D I can't describe how beautiful I find it, few can beat it (did someone say refugees? :P).

To each his own, of course. Personally, there are many Cohen songs that I prefer without taking anything away, because it's certainly a beautiful song. Also, because there are only about ten songs by Cohen that are "not beautiful" at most.

Of course, everything "song of Leonard Cohen" is magnificent, even "ballad of the absent mare" holds a special place in my little heart. I mean, damn, there are really very few songs that fail!
  • "Dance me to the end of love" is of a rare beauty.
"And I would like to count your hair/until the last one without making a mistake/and in the end say that they are beautiful/and mix them up and start again" Thus ends this wonderful album, not his best, but wonderful.

I absolutely love "Mi manchi" and "Lettera da Marsala." As for "Luci a San Siro," I'm attached to the touching original version on "Parabola," not taking anything away from the successful version included there. :)

Not bad, but it did much better, a nice 3.5 rounded up to 4. But please! Tell me that they fired the person who made the cover!

    Indeed, the cover is terrifying..
How much epicness is contained in the grooves of this little gem!!!! Do you think my already shaky virility will completely go to hell if I risk crying while listening to Refugees?

More than anything, if you didn't shed a tear over "Refugees," you would be an insensible monster.

Among the band's most beautiful chapters.
