Andrei Tarkovsky: Stalker
DVD Video I lack ★★★★★
It is unimaginable that a man could conceive such a wonder. Unimaginable how he managed to be so raw and ruthless in describing the hopelessness in mankind's fate. Unimaginable how even now there are fools who have yet to see it. What the hell are you waiting for?!
Atheist: Unquestionable Presence
File Audio I have it ★★★★★
How can one define one of the most important albums of my life? Easy.
Like the pinnacle of all death metal, where the flair, stylistic elegance, compositional skills, and jazz influences of Atheist finally reach a universal dimension, becoming the definitive death metal album, encapsulated in eight tracks, totaling 32 minutes, with a highly complex and intricate structure. The ultimate masterpiece of the genre.
Björk: Post
File Audio I have it ★★★★★
One of those moments when music is better (or almost) than pornography.
Thank you Bjork for the tears in Hyper-Ballad.
Rating: 9.5/10

I’ve been meaning to listen to this one for years, but I always end up veering towards something else… Sooner or later I will make it right.

A record so varied that it surprises you; I also like Telegram, which in a way feels like an alternative version.
The biggest musical orgy of my life.
Go Nagai: Devilman
Cartaceo I lack ★★★★★
A milestone, a work of great philosophical depth, its words are worth their weight in gold. Even though nearly 45 years have passed, the teachings of the master remain significant and relevant. A work to which some of the most successful mangaka of all time are indebted, including Akira Toriyama of Dragon Ball and Kentaro Miura of Berserk. Rating: 9/10

One of my favorite mangas. Read it all in one night, couldn't put it down. Sublime.

The only anime that has truly captivated me in my life is the Amon Apocalypse OVA, perfect even in its ending.

It refers to the manga of Devilman, not the anime.
Godflesh: Streetcleaner
File Audio I have it ★★★★★
Looking for the ideological apocalypse? Here it is before your eyes. Simply one of the top five metal albums (in my humble opinion) ever conceived.
Hiroaki Samura: L'Immortale
Cartaceo I have it ★★★★★
It’s simply perfect as a manga, not a single flaw capable of ruining this work for even a moment. Apparently, it's just a simple story of revenge and redemption for the main characters, Manji and Rin, but in the end, it transforms into an extraordinarily gripping and poetic tale, where the characters strive, in every way, to maintain their dignity in a world where pain, suffering, inner desolation, violence, and brutality are the order of the day.
Rating: 10/10
Immolation: Here in After
File Audio I have it ★★★★
The most suffocating, oppressive, and gloomy death metal album ever conceived in the history of death metal. An authentic marvel that predated the strokes of genius in "Obscura" by Gorguts.
Miles Davis: Agharta
File Audio I have it ★★★★★
Stratospheric live. It's impossible to resist the charm of this wonder.
Rating: 9.5/10
Opeth: Still Life
File Audio I have it ★★★★
Most likely their creative peak, in which their most romantic and passionate side shines through.
Orson Welles: Quarto Potere
File Video I have it ★★★★★
Remove the historical significance (secondary in my evaluation). This film is 100% the greatest film my eyes have ever seen. Capable of being relevant 76 years after its release.
Probably there will never be a cinematic debut as damn near perfect. Great Orson Welles.
Sergio Leone: Il Buono, Il Brutto, Il Cattivo
File Video I have it ★★★★★
Probably Leone's masterpiece, an extraordinary film. The Triello remains one of the highest points in the history of cinema (if not the highest).
The Doors: The Doors
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Finding someone who despises this record is practically impossible.
Rating: 10/10 for life
Type O Negative: Slow, Deep and Hard
File Audio I have it ★★★★★
Simply the greatest metal album ever conceived and recorded.
Rating: 10/10

It is reductive with a work like this...
  • fuggitivo

A mastodon of twisted and negative moods. Atrocious and apocalyptic like a Modern Dance. Among the greatest masterpieces of all music. Lyrics that should be taken absolutely seriously and not as "black humor" (some jackass wrote that).

*A monolith of moods... fucking cell phone*
Van Der Graaf Generator: Pawn Hearts
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
The most important album of my life.
Voivod: Nothingface
File Audio I have it ★★★★★
A fresco as brainy as it is poetic, poised between progressive metal and thrash metal, just as had been partially foreshadowed in its predecessors ("Killing Technology" and "Dimension Hatross"). The listener finds themselves in a mind-bending world and risks getting lost in this excessive genius.
One of the best albums in history. Thank you, Voivod.

Yes. A monument should be erected in every square in the world. That said, the thrash is no longer felt here; it has been absorbed into that unique blend that only Voivod have managed to express. If we want to, it's a genuine evolution compared to the previous albums you mentioned, surpassing all the patterns that were present before, especially in Snake's voice, which is finally liberated and placed on the same level of importance as the music. A unique amalgam on par with the elder brothers Rush. I need to listen to it again right away....
