By the way, excited by the presence of the DT. Because in the '90s they really were a great band: Images & Words and Awake are two masterpieces.

To Ste', the arrangements of Images & Words sound like a midi. Terrible in my opinion.

I like Images & Words and Awake, and I’ll even throw in Scenes from a Memory. Who cares if someone says they suck?

Felo, you say? It’s true, they are "thought-out" albums and therefore also cold... However, up until Awake and even a bit beyond, they don’t excessively fall into mannerism. Let’s say that everyone has their own style, even in sound. I don’t mind that one, though it’s obvious there’s better out there! Scenes From A Memory isn’t my favorite; it really represents the commercial turning point, but it's well made, maybe even too much... I don’t think there’s much to debate on this.

I don't talk so much about coldness as I do about arrangements; certainly, they're all well-played records, but I don't enjoy them. Not particularly original, but not manneristic either, as you rightly pointed out. I don’t like them; I really don’t find anything in them.

PS: I find Codeine a bit low.

Felo, after the first 5, are not in order. Maybe later I will try to reorganize them better.

Try listening to the Supreme Dicks... Then tell me about it :)

And what are these Supreme Dicks doing?!?

Well... Let's say psychedelic rock, but even more! They deserve it, trust me ;)

Absolutely, they deserve it. A few months ago, the box set with their discography was released, I’ll definitely give it some thought; "The Emotional Plague" would fit well in this ranking. Anyway, I absolutely agree on Images and Awake, two amazing albums.

Recommendation: The Grifters - So Happy Together.

And Bardo Pond are also missing, who in my opinion deserve a nice first place with Bufo Alvarius.

Well, the only thing I like about DT is the sound choices...

I've heard a lot of good things about Bufo Alvarius, but I haven't listened to it yet. Soon, I will be adding Black Tape for a Blue Girl, which I've been listening to these days.

The best band from Seattle is missing, Alice In Chains, whose self-titled album is far superior to Superunknown, and Nine Inch Nails.

    and FaithNoMore. ;)

Alice in Chains have never driven me wild, even though I think I’ll give them another listen later on....

More than Dirt, their masterpiece for me is the latest self-titled album, more sick and captivating; I recommend giving it another chance. :)

The title of the Sparklehorse album is beautiful :D I absolutely have to listen to an album with a title like that.

Have you tried Pygmalion by Slowdive? I'm missing it, but I've heard it should, in some ways, precede the sound of Sigur Rós, so you might like it... (and maybe you could let me know if it's worth it! ;D)

Another thing: if you like hash jars, I also recommend dadamah and bardo pond, which I actually like even more! :)

I miss it too. Anyway, if I can get it, I think I might be interested.

Ah, I totally forgot about the dadamah (I love them a ton too!). I haven't listened to anything by Bardo yet. Everyone has spoken very highly of them, I’ll have to look into them sooner or later.
