In my opinion, Duane, Iommi, Gilmour, and definitely Clapton are quite low. I reiterate for the umpteenth time that tastes are tastes, but why include them in the ranking of the best if you think they suck? I find it strange...

Ah ah, you're right too... but this is a "ranking" of the "best" (quotes are essential) that I've heard so far. In short, even though I don't like Clapton, I consider him superior to Ron Wood, or Joe Perry, or Radius, or others I may have listened to. It wouldn't make sense to make a list of 50 guitarists just to show off knowledge of names... as Blackdog once said, I'm a fan of empirical knowledge.
