    1. As I specified in the notes, I mean "post-rock" in a broad sense, given that the term itself cannot refer to a genre but to a wide category that encompasses completely different musical influences, depending on the bands (electronic, hardcore, jazz, metal). If we consider that Simon Reynolds, when he coined the definition of post-rock, referred to bands like Stereolab or Bark Psychosis, which have little in common with the bands commonly associated with the "genre" in question, such as Codeine and June of 44. Instead, Him fall into the category along with many other groups I've included (Talk Talk and Soul Coughing), considering they come from a branch of Rex and June of 44. From the latter, they took on the jazz influences, albeit leaning towards more ambient and tribal atmospheres. I’m referring, of course, to the very first albums of Him (“Egg” and “Sworn Eyes”).

It's great to see the presence of Idaho and the true American Hims in a classic (the photo unfortunately shows the one of the Finns, which raises Jdv's doubt, I suppose).

Which squirrel bait do you recommend? I've heard that they influenced Fugazi, if I'm not mistaken.

I only added the note later, thanks to ProgRock's comment. I was not aware of the existence of the Finnish band. As for Squirrel Bait, apart from the self-titled EP, they released only one album, Skag Heaven, released in 1987, which I consider a masterpiece. Squirrel Bait then gave rise to bands like Slint, Bitch Magnet, Gastr Del Sol, Bastro, and For Carnation.

Unfortunately, the Denison Kimball Trio is missing from the list because they are not present in the database. I wrote a review of one of their albums today, but I see that it has not been added yet. As it is my first review, could you tell me how long it usually takes for it to appear? Thank you.
