Unjustly "hated" in my opinion... They haven't released masterpieces, okay, but definitely great albums... Stapp has an identical voice to Vedder?? So what?? In fact, it's a compliment.... "My Own Prison" remains their best album, the last one "Full Circle" is also great... Tremonti doesn't give us solos in the early albums, but he was already hinting at his immense abilities!! more
Two years pass since the release of the groundbreaking "Le Radici e Le Ali"; the Severini brothers continue their proud journey with the equally compelling "Storie d'Italia". The title is emblematic, with the tracks recounting and outlining both positive and negative stories of our peninsula. A Combat Rock in the native language with guitars and more traditional instruments, capable of thrilling and prompting deep reflection, as in the song "Duecento Giorni a Palermo". more

2nd barracks 1992. A month before the end of my military service, they transferred me to another barracks. A grandfather among strangers. To comfort me through all this and the stupidity of the sergeants, this well of emotions while a cold February passed through the window of a shabby barracks in Treviso. more

"We are Pavlov's experimental dogs, whose salivation comes from the controlled, manipulated television, planned according to the schedule that outlines the day." Even when the schedule includes the Sanremo Festival or "The Voice Of Italy," eh Frankie? Who knows what those who think highly of themselves would say about your participation in a "reality" show funded with public money and "won" by a nun... more
Released a year after "End Hits" to exemplarily close the nineties; we find ourselves listening to an album tied to the homonymous documentary about the band. The eighteen tracks serve as the perfect soundtrack to provide a precise auditory and visual documentation of what Fugazi was: a unique and unattainable band in the music scene of those years, but not only that; and it seems all too obvious to me to give this album the highest rating as well...PERFECT... more

Excellent project by Fred Frith, where he sounds like a regular musician, composing songs and instrumental pieces in a more accessible way compared to many of his works. Recommended for those looking for something different. Folk in opposition? more
