Unjustly "hated" in my opinion... They haven't released masterpieces, okay, but definitely great albums... Stapp has an identical voice to Vedder?? So what?? In fact, it's a compliment.... "My Own Prison" remains their best album, the last one "Full Circle" is also great... Tremonti doesn't give us solos in the early albums, but he was already hinting at his immense abilities!!

Creed

Creed is an American post‑grunge/hard rock band formed in the mid‑1990s, featuring Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips. They rose to mainstream success with My Own Prison and Human Clay, earned a Grammy for With Arms Wide Open, split in 2004, reunited in 2009 for Full Circle, and returned again in the 2020s.
