Talking Heads -77
I hope it doesn't rain on Easter and Easter Monday... I put it on tonight after it had been sitting around gathering dust for I think 10 years, a fantastic album, of which I hardly remembered anything, except for Psycho Killer that I hear all the time on the radio... great. more
Tycho -Dive
The beauty of absolute relaxation. Electronic moments for solitary marine reflections. The peace of the senses in about 40 minutes. The masterpiece of Tycho. more
Arthur Lee
A genius who will hardly receive the proper recognition for what he has passed down to us. Also worth rediscovering is the beautiful solo album, Vendicator. more
Duran Duran
If you're looking for good taste in pop, look here. Since the first "Duran Duran," they have churned out catchy hits (not too trivial) for those in search of pop music, as well as more complicated pieces, the tracks from albums that didn't turn into singles. Then, after their breakup in 1985 and their reformation as a trio, they somewhat lost their way, but still released three great albums: "Notorious," "Big Thing," and especially "The Wedding Album." To be honest, I never followed Duran Duran post-1993 apart from "Electric Barbarella." However, just for "Rio," "Duran Duran," "Seven And The Ragged Tiger," and "Arena," they deserve five stars. Then, if you add the others I've mentioned... more
Spandau Ballet
In my opinion, a fundamental group for those who listen to pop but want real pop and not the four synthetic junk with pseudo-Jamaican rhythms that are heard today. To those who compare them to Lady Gaga... it’s not that you have to be only rockers to know how to play: you can make music without being hard & heavy (on the contrary...). more
Robert Johnson
No one knows a damn thing and it has influenced like probably no one else. Three tombs, two (or three?) photos, born who knows when, died how and when even less. God, pardon me, the noble Devil, has ensured that 29 tracks of music have arrived, so haunting as to tear at the souls. In short, the apotheosis of the blues in its most delirious and enigmatic form. I don't believe he sold his soul to anyone... but, thinking about it, the only thing we have various testimonies of is that he was a lousy guitarist, he left, and after a while he returned a "phenomenon"... what beautiful stories! more
Martin Scorsese -L'Ultima Tentazione Di Cristo
"Harmony between heart and Earth... That's the world of God." more
Van der Graaf Generator
The triptych "The least..", "H to H.. "and "Pawn Hearts" is a UNESCO World Heritage. Peter Hamill and Hugh Banton, saints immediately. more
Kunihiko Ikuhara -Utena La fillette révolutionnaire - Apocalisse adolescenziale
An absolutely essential gem for lovers of Eastern animation and the more extreme, poetic, and visually refined ermetism (truly cool drawings) of the very good TV series in my opinion. Commendable is the visionary automotive outburst at the end. more
Premiata Forneria Marconi -Jet Lag
Beautiful and unique album, played divinely, with a good mix of technique and the usual progressive atmospheres. more
Rolf Kasparek
For what he produced from the end of the '80s until the mid-'90s with Running Wild, he absolutely deserves a 5. From 2000 until today, he has unfortunately been a victim of a tremendous decline in ideas and inspiration. more
Amazing Blondel -Evensong
Who knows why every early spring these guys come to mind, I dust off their records and enjoy a bit of renaissance. Last year with Fantasia Lindum, this year with this one. Exceptional. more
The Qemists
Fuck the comparison with Pendulum, they rock. more

CocoRosie
You listen to them and you're already in a hot air balloon in the midst of undefined cosmic nothingness. more
Kiave
I would dare to say that today he is one of the leading figures of conscious rap in Italy. Intelligent, entertaining, and with perfect metrics! more
