"Glam" attached to Roxy is a reduction of a great album where electronics, experimentation, and prog get married! more
I confess that I have always heard about them but never really explored their music, until I decided to listen to them closely, and I must say that I was truly excited. A typically American progressive pomp-rock of great quality. The genre they play often leans towards an "exalted AOR" with a constant tendency to go a bit over the top (IMHO), but with their prog arrangements and great technique, they manage to keep the "tastelessness" in check up until Monolith. A bit less so in the subsequent albums, although I still really like "Audio-Visions" and "Vinyl Confessions," especially the latter. The latest "The Prelude Implicit" is also a great work. more
sublime!......the Anglo-Saxon tradition mixed with rock in a perfect combination! more
Refined and haunting interpreter of a languid and retro indie pop. A perfect soundtrack for a Lynch film. more
An author endowed with a very rare sensitivity. Despite the countless praises for his poetic and songwriting abilities, it's rare to read lyrics that are so full of humanity and empathy. This alone would be enough for full marks. I also want to add that I personally appreciate his elementary composition style, which perfectly served (at least in the early period of his work) his lyrics. However, my favorite remains Anime Salve, where, with the help of Pagani and Fossati, he reaches the highest peaks. more

Parts of the novel describe the opulence and parasitism of the nobility, in contrast to the poverty in which the people find themselves. In particular, Hugo emphasizes that English nobles are referred to as lords, which in the English language means not only "master" but also "Lord" in a religious sense, "God." Indeed, subjects in English are also defined as subjects, meaning "submissive," but also broadly "citizens," "people."
The protagonist is himself a nobleman, the son of a noble severely punished for being "democratic" and "republican," thus close to the suffering people. The author brings to the public's attention the struggle that actually occurred between nobles of high moral stature, who were close to the people, and conservative nobles who, during that historical period, oppressed the population to enjoy enormous privileges. The umpteenth Bowie soul, an anomalous album in his discography, but stunningly beautiful! His voice is at its best. more
That guitar with a sound and a technique that seemingly don’t seem anything special, but actually have so much to tell. A guitarist unjustly criticized by ultra-snobbish bigots, when just the solo of "Telegraph Road" is enough to make us realize who we are talking about. more
Underestimated: Bach, a charismatic singer with the chops, a handful of memorable hits, and "18 and Life," which alone is worth the price of one of their albums. more
