rather faded disco! more
stunning acoustic ballads sung with a gentle and polite tone. A classic that is a must-have. more
Important album, it anticipates symphonic prog rock. Also a difficult album, too reliant on orchestral arrangements. Fundamental but pretentious! more
Like it or not, Springsteen is a must-have in any discography. 10 years of concerts featuring the best Bruce, one of the greatest stage animals! more
Rough pleasures that I have learned to appreciate with dedication and patience. more
Strange is the story of Lauzi, not a character, outside the dominant thought, irreverent... he deserved more! more
beautiful, ambiguous, sensual, and beautiful voice! more
The Manilla Road attempt to shift towards more Thrash Metal sounds, and listening to it almost 30 years later, the result is more than excellent. The sulfurous atmospheres of tracks like Helicon, the methodical and precise riffing of Slaughterhouse or the title track, and the references to the typical sound of the Road in War In Heaven or the lengthy Whitechapel, make this album the hardest musically from the Wichita group. Mark Shelton had various vocal issues after the recording of Out Of The Abyss, also due to the way he sang on the album, but the magic of bands like Manilla Road has not yet faded today, and we hope it never does. more
Damn, another amazing band of contemporary Southern rock! Beautiful passionate voice with a grunge vibe, two guitars very different in style and sound, one on the right and one on the left typical of the South, the acoustic guitar mellowing things out and creating atmosphere, the usual cohesive and rolling rhythm section like only in America. I picked up this album at the fair in BO, and I'm already itching to get the other three from their discography.
Ah, the music: zero peculiarities, the usual mix of R&R, blues, country, pop, hard, etc., but with the right drive, the absolute vocation, the good melodic vein of those who are not discovering anything new but living and working excellently with what they love. more
really good! more
Only Miss You is out of the repertoire, for the charts and for the nightclubs. The rest is the usual safe haven, strong rhythmic tracks, the usual Stones! more
beastly live! more
As a child, I was captivated, fascinated, and amused watching this "sbirulino" screaming... as an adult, I am enchanted and drawn to one of the greatest Italian interpreters of all time. more
Nonexistent singer from the Top of the Pop charts, idol of teenage paninari. Always been annoying, luckily they don't bother us anymore, at least I hope. more
Of the trio's first 4 studio albums, this is definitely the one I can stand the least. It's all based on the 20 minutes of the title track, which are only good in parts, for example when Lake sings, which are probably the sections where Lake had a hand in composing the music together with Emerson (the lyrics are all by Mr. Lake) or in the section entirely written by Lake ("Battlefield"). You can see that if they had called themselves Lake, Lake, and more Lake, I would have liked them more? Obviously, within those 20 minutes, even the Sboronissimo comes up with cool stuff, but mostly it's just overly fine virtuosity for its own sake. The short little songs that follow the suite, well... Except for "The Only Way," the rest is, well... Bye. more
monster album, perfect production, exquisite sounds, and Nobel-worthy lyrics.
September Lunary masterpiece song! more

One must have felt really good at 461 Ocean Drive in Miami, judging by the relaxed expression on Eric Clapton's face in the beautiful cover photo. Technically, Clapton lingers too much on the slide guitar. Good work, but not essential. more
One of my favorite Eno albums. "Slow Water," "Sparrowfall," "Quartz," "M386," "Strange Light." more
In the face of today's bland little wannabes.....power and passion in their purest form! more
