An author endowed with a very rare sensitivity. Despite the countless praises for his poetic and songwriting abilities, it's rare to read lyrics that are so full of humanity and empathy. This alone would be enough for full marks. I also want to add that I personally appreciate his elementary composition style, which perfectly served (at least in the early period of his work) his lyrics. However, my favorite remains Anime Salve, where, with the help of Pagani and Fossati, he reaches the highest peaks.
