In the mediocrity of GNR, he was certainly the coolest. He’s a not-so-original bluesman turned Hard Rock; he plays the same three notes endlessly but doesn’t bore me to death like the guitarists listened to by those who say his solos are too "easy." I bet that those who claim they play better than him, when performing their totally crappy metal cover, freeze like a mule on stage and wet themselves in front of two pimple-faced teenagers who don't even give him a second glance. more
