By far my favorite director. In any case, as far as I'm concerned, his films don't hold up to a second viewing, especially The Wrestler and the swan that showed all their limitations when I rewatched them. The exception is Pi, which is a small masterpiece of independent cinema, truly beautiful. And no hard feelings to anyone, but for me, Requiem is also a good film. more
