A musical disgrace spread over idiotic lyrics. Prototype of artistic nullity set in a face that just screams "I don't care." more
Mauro Repetto
Music and Dance fused together in one of the highest artistic expressions of the last one hundred fifteen to one hundred sixteen years. more

They had a purely adolescent target, and their songs might seem ridiculous, trivial, and childish. But they managed to communicate with tracks like "Sei un mito," "Gli anni," and "Senza averti qui" 100 times better than the now-retired Blasco, without considering themselves (and being considered) great poets of the Italian song. Too bad for the sappy and anachronistic abyss of Pezzali as a solo artist. more

I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that Max Pezzali and Mauro Geppetto are absolutely the coolest duo of all time, past, present, and future. more

They spent almost 10 years doing stupid covers. I know they eventually started writing their own stuff, but I was already pretty fed up and didn't want to know anything more. A bit more likable when they dub blockbuster movies. more
Bruce Springsteen
Never delved into it. I have a lot of stuff from the '80s and some scattered here and there from the '90s. It’s definitely worth it, but the 5 is for other people. more

If we talk about 883 until 2001, the last year Max Pezzali used the brand, I can give them a 3. The first two are excellent, albeit slightly vulgar. "Il grande incubo" and "La dura legge del gol" are listenable. "Grazie 1000" and "Uno in più" are mediocre. Having accompanied a bit of my adolescence and early experiences in their golden period, I do not deny them, considering Max a character still above other clowns, due to his charm and simplicity. I reiterate, the score is only for the decade 1992-2001. more

Sbollata is one of the most brilliant albums I have ever heard. Songs like Candy Intasata, Five Days Bloody Five Days, and Tritanic are small masterpieces. more

Bruce Springsteen
I don't know him very well, but he is undoubtedly an artist who deserves recognition. Even if he's slightly overexposed, he has written some beautiful songs, among which "Born In The USA" definitely does not belong—it's bland, pointless, annoying, and pandering. more
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band
Just listen to the bootleg Pièce de Résistance (live in Passaic 1978); if you listen to that bootleg, you can't help but bow down to the most overwhelming rock 'n' roll band that has ever existed. No one has surpassed the levels of Bruce's 1978 tour with the E Street Band in live performance. more
Bruce Springsteen
Immense storyteller, exceptional rocker, unattainable live performer. Even undervalued, because the true extent of his work in the realm of American popular music goes far beyond the fame achieved with the general public. more
