Different from traditional BM, for the obvious reason that they started before the 1st wave, back in '84. Fundamental for the birth of the genre, for the seeds sown earlier, and for their contribution to the first phase with good records such as "De Mysteriis Dom Satanas" and symbols like "Live in Leipzig", alongside the true fathers Darkthrone. Often unpleasant, unbearable, with one more possessed singer than the other; also due to sad events in the news, they are the true fathers in every way, from the Inner Circle to Burzum.

Mayhem

Mayhem is a Norwegian extreme metal band widely cited as a foundational act in Norwegian black metal. Their early history and the 1994 album “De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas” are central to their reputation, alongside later-era releases that split listeners between tradition and experimentation.
