Randall "Randy" H. Meisner joined Poco in '68, a group formed from the break-up of Buffalo Springfield after the departure of Neil Young and Stephen Stills.

His stay was brief, and in January '69, while the band was busy mixing their first album, Pickin' Up The Pieces, Randy left the group due to disagreements with founders Richie Furay and Jimmy Messina; however, his name still appears in the album credits.

In '72, he joined the Eagles, with whom he stayed until '77.

His greatest success was Hotel California, to which he was particularly attached, and he later released three solo albums.

Two days ago, on July 26, 2023, due to complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, he ascended to heaven where guitarist Glenn Frey, who passed away on January 18, 2016, at the age of sixty-seven due to a complication from rheumatoid arthritis, a disease he had been suffering from for a few months, and the complications of an intestinal operation, was waiting for him. Last books I read on the Kindle: I had started "Terminus radioso" long before heading to Morocco, and I was tempted more than once to abandon it without finishing, but after reading G's review a long time ago, I gradually finished it while enjoying a mint tea, some dates, and a big glass of camel milk (which I had never drunk before), and I didn't dislike it (neither the book nor the milk) despite the many strange things included by the author.

Then I started (here in the Moroccan kingdom) and finished the autobiography of “Slowhand” in a few afternoons, and I expected many things, but some were definitely surprising.

"Ovadia's Last Supper" bored me quite a bit, and I had already heard many things from his own mouth.

Next, I read McCarthy's latest release "Il Passeggero," and it contains interesting things (as always, he doesn't disappoint) and perhaps it’s what satisfied me the most, actually without perhaps.

Yesterday I finished the one by Mordecai, which I found a bit outdated, but it remains a good snapshot of the life of Jews in Canada in the mid-last century, and I still don't know what I'll read today...
