Impressioni di settembre
Happy New Year!!.. Yes, because September marks the new year, ...it's time for sweatshirts, long pants come back, and on the bike, you need a windbreaker; in short, a lot of (old) novelties.

An almost impossible attempt at a semi-serious journey through the discography and countless collaborations of Steve Gadd, in almost chronological order.

Mr. Airplane Man - Blue As I Can Be

Mr. Airplane Man - Telephone

How Long

During a remarkable period of “welcome back pipes” - I admit I was no longer feeling it - I listened to, (re)discovered garage bands with soul and blood, which, as per the rule, have the most diverse influences from beat to punk, from psychedelia to R&B - from power pop to folk, from rockabilly to mod, even soul and even hard rock. In short, the essence of rock and roll from true beasts to the wild scream of “screw your incredibly virtuosic and fast scales and your fucking 4-octave vocal range.” Since 1990 onward, with a few comebacks of old relics, savansadir.

Listening to them again, how wonderful… Noble Tara and Margaret…
