Donovan - To Try For The Sun (1965)

As The Raven Flies

Diamonds, Garbage and Gold

During a remarkable time of "welcome back pippe" - I admit it wasn’t doing it for me anymore - I listened to and (re)discovered garage bands full of soul and blood with, as per the rule, the most diverse influences from beat to punk, from psychedelia to R&B - from power pop to folk, from rockabilly to mod, even soul and even hard rock. In short, the essence of Rock'n'Roll from true beasts to the wild scream of “fuck your virtuosic and super-fast scales and your four-octave vocal range of bullshit.” Since 1990 onwards, with some revivals of old fossils, savansadir.

MIKE STAX, by the way, and what the hell. How do you recount this Noble in a few lines?! A true crazy fetishist. Crawdaddys and Tell-Tale Hearts would be enough and more for generations. His latest band The Loons is a concentrate of everything. Four albums, so far, in the new millennium (maybe the first one from '99 but it doesn't change much). Today we spend it with them... tomorrow I don’t know.

Of course, we will meet again… Mike…

Rollins Band (Florence 1992) [03]. Almost Real

Nas feat. 21 Savage - One Mic, One Gun (Official Audio)

@[ZiOn] at a quick first listen, you’re right. It's not much. Right now, this seems like the best piece, definitely a lot due to the feat of 21 Savage.

The Loons-Between Grey Slates

Inside Out Your Mind

In a remarkable period of “welcome back f***ers” - I admit I wasn't feeling it anymore - I listened to, (re)discovered garage bands of soul and blood with, as per tradition, the most diverse influences from beat to punk, from psychedelia to R&B - from power pop to folk, from rockabilly to mod, even soul and even hard rock. In short, the essence of Rock'n'Roll from true beasts to the wild scream of “f*** your virtuosic and fast scales of shit and your four octaves of f***ing vocal range.” From 1990 onwards, with a few comebacks of old geezers, savansadir.

MIKE STAX, by the way, and what the hell. How can one summarize this Noble in just a few lines?! A true crazy fetishist. Crawdaddys and Tell-Tale Hearts would be more than enough for generations. His latest band The Loons is a concentration of everything. Four albums, so far, in the new millennium (maybe the first from '99 but it doesn’t matter much). A distillation of all previous experiences. Here’s a Classic Garage track and a power pop ride infused with lysergic acid. Today we’re hanging out with them… tomorrow I don’t know.

Oh girls, if there's one thing that's truly the end of the world, it's not what you might be thinking mischievously (even though I must admit it's heavenly...) but it's this pasta and gorgonzola that I've just whipped up, anvedisicherobba.

I know some of you here couldn't care less, in fact, you're even annoyed by these exploits, like the various fonte, ribaldo, asterics, etc. But what do we care?
I share this stuff just for all of you, my fans, the only reason I stay on DeBaser for life and gnente.

San Leo - video areo con drone

A dirty job, but someone has to do it!

The Loons "I Wanna Get You"

The Loons - Another Life short film

During a remarkable period of "welcome back, jerks" - I admit I wasn't feeling it anymore - I listened to and (re)discovered garage bands full of soul and blood, with, as a rule, the most diverse influences from beat to punk, from psychedelia to R&B - from power pop to folk, from rockabilly to mod, including soul and even hard rock. In short, the essence of rock 'n' roll by true beasts with the wild scream of "screw your virtuosic and lightning-fast scales and your four octaves of fucking vocal range." Since 1990 onward, with a few revivals of old fossils, savansadir.

MIKE STAX, by the way, and what the hell. How can you describe this Noble in just a few lines?! A true fetishist lunatic. Crawdaddys and Tell-Tale Hearts would be enough to last generations. His latest band, The Loons, is a concentration of everything. Four albums so far in the new millennium (maybe the first one from '99, but it doesn't change much). A distillation of all previous experiences. Here’s a Classic Garage track and a power pop ride steeped in lysergic acid. Today we spend it with them… tomorrow, I don't know.

(per quello che ho da fare) faccio il militare (vasco rossi)

"Tomorrow evening I’m on guard at the powder magazine
I’m a bit annoyed to tell the truth
because it’s Sunday evening
but we can’t relax
the Russians can arrive
at any hour, any hour,
and if they take away our weapons
how are we supposed to fight, tell me... with sticks?"
