Kid Blue

Sometimes

Every now and then, I dust off some lesser-known Noble Bands from the DECADE.

Dutch, probably the pioneers of DUTCH SOUND or NEDERBEAT. A band with a long history that deserves to be told. There’s a nice review on Deb as well.

Defined succinctly as a Blues group, their influences are actually many, ranging from the garage beat of the early years to hard prog, but also funk, jazz, and folk as time goes on.

If you're looking for truly beautiful Blues tracks, you can listen to dozens – yes, dozens… on par with Waters, Wolf, Mayall, Clapton and the like…

And after the initial period, here’s what they could offer us…

Every now and then, I dust off some Unknown Noble Band from the DECADE.

Dutch, probably the forerunners of the DUTCH SOUND or NEDERBEAT. A band with a very long history that deserves to be told. There’s a nice review over on Deb as well.

Defined synthetically as a Blues group, the influences are actually numerous, ranging from the early garage beat to hard prog, but also funk, jazz, and folk as they progressed.

If you want to listen to truly beautiful Blues pieces, you can find dozens of them—dozens, mind you… on par with Waters, Wolf, Mayall, Clapton, and the gang. HERE WE’RE ON GARAGE-BEAT DEBUTS.

Anyway, Giorgione had it out for the Ministry of Health even in less suspicious times... Alealè "And other Nazis or bastards, who knows, hiding in the Ministry of Health.
For these guys, my health counts for nothing.
What matters is counting my T4 lymphocytes a thousand times."

Cuby + Blizzards - I'm so restless (Nederbeat) | (Grolloo) 1966

Every now and then, I like to revisit some lesser-known Noble Bands from the DECADE.

Dutch, likely the pioneers of the DUTCH SOUND or NEDERBEAT. A band with a long history that deserves to be told. There’s also a nice review on Deb.

They are concisely defined as a Blues group, but the influences are numerous, ranging from the garage beat of the early years to hard prog, but also funk, jazz, and folk as they evolved.

If you want to listen to truly great Blues tracks, there are dozens of them—dozens, mind you… on par with Waters, Wolf, Mayall, Clapton, and the gang; HERE WE'RE TALKING ABOUT GARAGE-BEAT DEBUTS.
