Enzo Jannacci - Come gli aeroplani - Official Audio

"Oh, here's another one that sucks
And they let him run a television network
And he does it like a bully, eh-eh-eh
Like you, who is arrogant, and when you respond, you do it wickedly
Rudely, because, because you have a gun in your pocket
But instead of a brain, you only have shit
You only have shit
That strangely doesn’t even stink."

Eva Cassidy - Fields of Gold

Here.
Do you understand why I will NEVER write a review?
But why do we need to explain things in a review?
And I hate explaining things.

Here I should explain why poor Eva died too young from cancer, I don't care where.
I should explain that this version is immensely superior (as often happens) to the one written by the former policeman.
Then I should compare the relationship - which is virtually nonexistent - between the two and finally check the syntax and correct myself. Something I find simply annoying.

This is a great piece, and that's it!

Oh, of course, there’s also the fact that I played it for my favorite barista (happily married) and as a result, she and I ended up guzzling chupíti until five in the morning, long after the bar closed.
She didn’t want to stop listening to it!
It had happened to her - at the same alcohol level - only with "Così è la vita" by Mariella Nava.
Which, I suppose, the noble @[withor] must have posted a gazillion times. Yuk!

Monaco 2013… more or less…

One album and a couple of EPs… sensational

Pure garage… sometimes beat, sometimes punk, sometimes melodic… you dance, you don’t stand still… that’s Rocchenrolle

Marlene Kuntz - Nuotando Nell'Aria

“Oh là” around here has different shades. It should be pronounced together, slightly tilting the head at the second vowel. It could be summarized as a “finally” accompanied by a sense of relief. Or maybe a “see, you made it?” or even “thank goodness it’s nothing serious.” It depends on the inflection; if it’s serious with a prolonged “Ooh,” it means “damn, you did it.” If the “là” is pronounced sharply and detached, something definitive has happened. Positive spectrum. Finally, I’ve made it, with more tired ears. I wonder what impact it has/could have in adolescence. I’m waiting for the thirtieth-anniversary edition, but in the meantime, my heart is asking: “what is missing?”

Echoes
The Umbrellas 2024
Great indie work with a mix of gentle and more powerful tracks.
