I had this LP and maybe the most captivating one was precisely this: Soft Machine-Why Are We Sleeping?

I like Bob; with this song he "helped" even more the ongoing (at the time) rock-reggae-punk-new wave blending. It's a beautiful album. Bob Marley & the Wailers - Punky Reggae Party (live)

"I want to live like this, with the sun on my forehead and happy listening... listening for me!" that is, I do whatever the hell I want (and, above all, what I like) (94)

U.K. - In The Dead Of Night At least five years ago, I listened for the first time to "Discipline" by King Crimson. Some time ago, after my excitement with "Elephant Talk" and "Indiscipline," I understood that afro funky can only be done by Talking Heads, Eno, Rip Rig & Panic, A Certain Ratio, and a few other big bands (with Peter Gabriel's "Melt," we start to make sense, but already with "Security," I say "Oh God, who knows"). For me, Fripp must end with "Larks'..," there’s not much to do. The same fate befalls UK, made up of Bruford, Holdsworth, the blonde violinist from Roxy Music, and Wetton, who are too self-referential. It almost seems that the prog monsters, upon reaching the end of the seventies, were forced to follow the "modern" wave.

#Let'sTalkAboutIt

Van der Graaf Generator Darkness (11/11)

I would like to open a new space here for all DebaserNauti, where we can discuss some musical issues that interest us and on which we want to share our thoughts:

First, I would like to talk about two bands that are loved by many of us. Do you think it’s fair to say that listening to King Crimson is more "cerebral," while Van Der Graaf Generator is more "emotional"? What do you think about this?
