U.K. - In The Dead Of Night At least five years ago, I listened for the first time to "Discipline" by King Crimson. Some time ago, after my excitement with "Elephant Talk" and "Indiscipline," I understood that afro funky can only be done by Talking Heads, Eno, Rip Rig & Panic, A Certain Ratio, and a few other big bands (with Peter Gabriel's "Melt," we start to make sense, but already with "Security," I say "Oh God, who knows"). For me, Fripp must end with "Larks'..," there’s not much to do. The same fate befalls UK, made up of Bruford, Holdsworth, the blonde violinist from Roxy Music, and Wetton, who are too self-referential. It almost seems that the prog monsters, upon reaching the end of the seventies, were forced to follow the "modern" wave.
