Charles Lloyd Quartet at Monterey Jazz Festival - Forest Flower, Sunrise-Sunset

Jazz Legends - The Second Lines (51 of 100) Charles Lloyd
from "Forest Flower" - 1967 (Atlantic)

Weather Report-Cannon Ball

A WEEK AT THE BLACK MARKET>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jaco's first time grappling with a composition by Master Zawinul.... hmm, who could the Austrian have dedicated it to?

PFM Per Un Amico - 01 Appena Un Po'
maybe the best piece by Pfm?

Foy Vance - Purple Rain (Today FM) The most beautiful Purple CoVer ever.

Van Morrison - Foreign Window
And so let's add the Nobilissimo.
Having listened to it again today after a lifetime, I confirm that it stands right behind the masterpieces in my opinion...
Now comes the tricky part, I have all of them up to this point, but he must have made another 20; does anyone truly deserve it besides talent and skill?!

Tom Waits - Poor Edward
Every comment is superfluous...

Nine Inch Nails - No, You Don't "Give us today our daily NIИ"

The Db's - The fight "Stands For Decibels": another gift that Music has given us. A perfect album and songs that I've been devouring for years... the only ones I don't care for are "Espionage" and "Tear Jerkin."

The Only Ones - It's the Truth Amazing album. The only tracks I don't like are "Creature Of Doom" and "The Immortal Story," but the rest gets a big 110 with honors.

Eels - Selective Memory
Always thanks to @[hjhhjij]
Wonder...

steely dan - barrytown I’m obsessed with this song. Always stunning.

James - Hymn From A Village The Postcard Sound smells of cream cake and banana ice cream.

Bernardo Lanzetti - Il Temporale

enjoy every serene moment
even if boredom and thoughts attack you
relish every sunny day
before the storm arrives

The Pale Fountains - (There's Always) Something on My Mind A precious band with a short life that must be included in the Postcard Sound strand (Josef K, Orange Juice, and Aztec Camera). Only the sublime indie Sixties revival tune "Thank You" achieved a respectable chart position, while "Jean's Not Happening" (with that verse melody taken word-for-word from New Order's "Love Vigilantes"), "Useless" (...with those horns fifteen years before "Screamadelica" and the Madchester Sound...) and this debut single went almost unnoticed.

Maria Carta - Per i morti di Reggio Emilia
I think I've spotted someone with a "strange" tattoo and a goofy face... I hope I'm wrong or the trip could turn into a very nasty boxing match... or I'll mark him for another time... the right one...
